#486 Organic Indigo Selvedge Chambray

Chambray is a core workwear fabric that we've used from the start. It can take on some many different forms depending on weight, color and grain. This version is gold standard chambray that demonstrated the controlled hand Japan has over all the little details. It starts at the most fundamental level - the cotton. This version uses rare organic cotton, an expensive find, and good signal that the mill was sparing no expense. This cotton is transformed in the the classic purple-blue indigo on white composition that instantly screams chambray. Finer yarns give the style a slightly more refined look, while the visible grain acts as a counter balance. Finally, a breezy light weight makes this chambray a dream to wear all-day - whether inside or out.
