Meet the GUSTIN Western - all the details of this iconic workwear style streamlined, treated to the ideal fit, top tier materials and intricately constructed right in the USA. We're proud to offer a value on a true USA-made investment piece like this.
When we approach an iconic style like the Western, we always want to capture the key style and functional details while making the style usable for today. We start with the must have details. Likely the most recognizable is the pointed yoke front and back. Originally designed to give this working garment more structure, ours gets a streamlined single point. Next come the double chest flap pockets. Perfectly size, secured with flaps and snaps. Snaps were used as a stronger alternative to buttons which could rip out during use. We honor that functional detail in our version as well. The full length front placket also gets snap closures. Classic barrel cuffs finish the sleeves. These are the iconic Western details done with care and simplicity. We turned the crank many times on fit to arrive at what we think is the perfect level of tailoring to make our Western versatile enough to be worn casually or more formally.
Finally we selected material to honor the origins of the style, which used what was the original fabric - animal skin. This version uses luxurious Deerskin. Flowing and extra soft like a supple fabric, lighter in weight with nice grain, this is pure luxury on day one.
"This salt & pepper plaid shirt is **** awesome. Fit, feel, and look are amazing! Best looking shirt I own. My wife gave me “the eye” when I walked into the kitchen wearing it. Thanks for making it!"
