Today we're running a special edition chino short using drop-dead gorgeous, hugely textured Japanese chambray. These will be one the sweetest chino shorts you can get at a true value at $65.
The feel, the look, and the color are all nailed with this chambray. After running this pant form, we knew we had to offer in our chino shorts. This fabric really entertains all your senses. When you touch them, the substance in this fabric instantly comes through. The 10 ounce weight, the density, the plushness - it’s what quality fabric should feel like. It makes for a solid and comfortable pair of shorts. Flowing enough to conform to your body yet sturdy enough to convey a sense of durability. You instantly notice the beautiful grain. This is always what we loved about chambrays. That color on white composition totally differentiates it from a standard twill and the larger, slubby yarns in this style really bring out that grainy texture. It’s irregular, cross-hatched and just gives the chinos great depth of character. Finally the color comes in - a brighter khaki with subtle yellow tints make this classic color a bit more lively. The white contrasting yarns add a sense of life and variation.
We spent a lot of time perfecting construction details and updated our fit. They are still nicely tailored, but a bit more relaxed. An inseam at 7.5” provides a middle ground on length. Construction is done the right way throughout: full two piece waistband, two welt back pockets (one with a flap closure to keep things secure), taped seams, YKK zip fly, double hook closure and our custom Corozo button.
Chino shorts of this quality, made in the USA are typically priced over $100. Our model allows us to offer you a much better value.
