Our first all-American jacquard, this rugged version from Cone Mills uses a tightly woven pattern to lend beautiful visual texture to a classic chambray fabrication. The value is undeniable.
This style uses cotton cloth Cone Mills in Greensboro, NC. Our favorite jacquards are those that manage to use a woven pattern to add texture without being over the top. This American made fabric nails it. A deep indigo warp, white weft chambray sets the base and a very good one at that. Things get much more interesting. Small petal-like forms are woven into the fabric in white. What's nice is that they serve to lend true visual texture to the fabric without being over-powering. They almost blend into the chambray, giving the surface a slightly brighter appearance. A 6 ounce weight makes this a substantial shirt. This is sweet all-American fabric at an amazing value.
Our fit starts with a beautifully tailored body, not too slim, but definitely fitted. High armholes keep the body lines clean. The length hits just right so it looks great always. Scooped out sides give the untucked look a bit of extra style. A traditional button down collar is secured with two side buttons and one back and has a nice soft roll.
We labor over every construction detail. Extensive single needle stitching is used throughout. All our closures are made from true mother of pearl. A finely folded locker loop sits over a box pleat on the back yoke. The front placket is also pleated, made the right way, using a true two piece construction. The feel is more substantial and the effort higher, but it's the right way. An angular chest pocket completes the front. Our cuffs are double button with rounded corners.

"I really love Gustin. I just don't think I'd choose another brand at any price point. And I love watching for new products/return of old favs. But a very important part of the experience is the great customer service."
