A truly special fabric with construction details infused from start to finish. This style is from Japan with a great combination of materials - cotton and wool. The cotton lends usability, while the wool gives it warmth and a rustic feel. The blend is ideal. Next comes the herringbone weave. From afar it just helps to blend the dye colors into a cohesive unit of rich color, but get closer and you see the classic v-pattern and texture. All these details set the stage for the true star, indigo dye. Very rare to find in wool fabric, the result is beautiful blues that you truly don't see. On the Dark Heather Indigo, you can see an inky deep blue base brought to life with a unique contrasting lighter yarn.
