A unique metallic grey, loose weave and intense grain results in a truly great pant. Add in year-round comfort and a serious value and you have the Japan Steel 5 Pocket.
This style from Japan perfects a range of details to create a true masterpiece of color, texture and wearability. Color is the first thing that jumps out - and bright metallic grey that reminds us of fine stainless steel. It's unusual and versatile. The overall color is transformed by a loose weave and intensely slubby yarns. You see organic graininess in both vertical and horizontal directions creating a vintage crosshatch look of old school denim. The loose weave helps to bring out the grain and white weft show through while also making the 10 ounce fabric flowingly. This is pant you wear easily on day one. This is a fabric that represent a level of control and mastery the defines our favorite mills in Japan. We're proud to construct these right in the USA at a serious value.
