The Deluxe Briefcase - Horween Chromexcel #8

The deluxe briefcase features a large zipper compartment outfitted with a solid-brass two-way YKK #10 zipper. The main compartment is almost double the capacity of our original briefcases, giving you ample room to bring more than just your computer an a notebook to the office. To keep notes or a book conveniently accessible, we've also added an external pocket that is secured with a brass snap. The handles are made of a burnished Horween latigo leather in a matching color and are riveted and sewn to the sides of the bag for an extra-durable connection. The handles are finished with a leather wrap, giving you added comfort. An adjustable shoulder strap is also made of this latigo leather and provides additional carrying options.

On the interior of the bag, we’re using a heavyweight brown canvas that lines the whole interior. The lap sleeve is secured using a brass snap and is large enough to fit an Apple MacBook Pro 16". Sewn into the right side one are an additional zipper pocket and a leather organizer with pockets for pens, business cards, phone, and keys.

For this briefcase, we’re using Horween's Chromexcel #8, which is one of our favorites. Its deep burgundy color is highlighted with an amazing pull-up characteristic which really brings out the leather's high and low tones. It ages beautifully as the oils in the leather get rubbed and displaced resulting in slightly lighter patches to give this bag some visual complexity. It’s truly a thing of beauty.
