The Ringer T-Shirt has been around for a long time, but it exploded in popularity in the 1970s. The defining element is the contrast rib addition, but that detail is enough to make it a fresh take on a basic T-shirt. We go vintage with ours. That means using an extra burly, 14 singles jersey - one of the heaviest we've used. It has a slightly coarse hand like you'd expect from a true old school knit. It feels rugged, ready to last and gets better with each wear and wash. We run a chunky, contrasting rib on the collar only to keep it more subtle. Colors are dyed in range of rich tones, each getting a subtle oxidized finish.
